Britney Spears At The Teen Choice Awards 2009

The 2009 Teen Choice Awards will be recorded tonight! but aired Monday august 10th.

Britney Spears shall appear there to receive her Ultimate Choice Award. She’s also nominated in 3 categories:

Best Single for “Circus.”

Best Female Artist .

Best Tour for “The Circus Starring: Britney Spears.”

The red carpet event should start in a while and according to TCA’s 09 Twitter account Britney is already on her way to appear on the red carpet, saying:

“Britney Spears is about to get dropped off on the teen choice awards red carpet!”

Britney’s acceptance speech quoted from USA Today:

“I’m a huge fan of hers,” Miley Cyrus said, presenting the Ultimate Choice Award to “hero” Britney Spears. Clad in a black sequined gown, Spears thanked fans, saying, “you guys are awesome,” and then turned to leave the stage. The auditorium started chanting her name and she returned to the podium and said “Thank you and God bless.”
