Britney Spears To Be Honored At The 2012 NRJ Awards
As happened at the 2011 Video Music Awards this year in the United States, Britney Spears will also be honored in France.
The singer will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the NRJ Music Awards, which rolls in Cannes on 21 January 2012.
“There will be a tribute to a pop icon, the same person who received the VMA Vanguard Award”.

Nikos has been the NRJ Music Awards host since 2009. He and Britney met in 2008 during her performance at Star Academy france. Nikos said the news isn’t published on the official twitter of NRJ yet, but in fact we’lll have more information about this tribute to Britney soon.
Spears has attended the NRJ in 2002 and 2004 respectively where she performed her hits I’m A Slave 4U [2002] and Toxic. In the 2004 edition, Britney personally delivered a gift of honor for Madonna, she will receive the same as in January 2012.
