“FEMME FATALE” Is The Top Ten Longest Trending Topic On Twitter

Britney Spears, who last week announced her seventh studio album, Femme Fatale, was the #1 Trending Topic on Twitter during the Super Bowl.

Femme Fatale has been a trending topic for six days straight now and has broken records to become the Top 10 longest running Trending Topic of Twitter.

Spears was one of the first major celebrities to join twitter in October 2008. Her “voice” via Twitter carries the farthest due to retweets and currently has approximately seven million followers. The last time Britney had a #1 trending topic on Twitter, it was due to the overwhelming response from fans asking for a “Britney” inspired “Glee.” When the “Glee” episode aired, she held eight out of the ten trending topics.

We need to keep this people to get her to the #1 spot the holding record is by INCEPTION movie which lasted 39 days, 16 hours and 16 minutes.
